What do I get when I train with you?

You will always get my undivided attention meaning that when we are together, it is only you an I and no one else. During our sessions I liked to make the client feel as comfortable as possible without stepping over any boundaries physically and mentally. Remember, this is your hour only and you have the right to pick my brain on nutrition, exercise, cardio or any kind of tips you may be looking to benefit from. I want you to walk out of my gym feeling good about yourself and building that self confidence that you made the right choice and are on your way to achieving your goals.


What is our first session like?

Our first session is generally used to discuss goals, physical abilities or disabilities. If at that point you are ready to jump on board I will have you sign a Health History and Liability form. From there we will then schedule our next session and start working on a program specifically designed for you so you can attain those goals in a reasonable amount of time. I certainly don't like pressuring people, so if you need to rethink your commitment then I only require the consultation fee and you can get back to me at a later time.


Will you be right for me?

Although I work with all ages from 15 - 65, male and female, most have been between the ages of 35 to 55. But no matter what age it is, there is always a goal in mind. Some of these goals that come to mind are: weight loss, muscle gain, strength gain, 2 day bike rides, bodybuilding, 5k runs, stair climbs, building power for baseball and golf. There really is no limitations, you name it and I can design a program that is right for you.


What do most of your clients do after their sessions expire?

Well, although I always hate to see clients leave I do not beg them to stay. Instead, I highly suggest that they either sign up for more sessions, join a gym or continue working out at home.

If you do decide to leave then I suggest periodically making scheduled appointments with me to see how your progress is going. If you do make those appointments with me, I will also continue to design programs for you so that you don't ever get burnt out from the same routines over and over again. There is a lifelong commitment in health and I am here to keep you motivated, honest and accountable so scheduling these appointments is suggested to keep this commitment.


What do most of your workouts consist of?

A lot depends on your personal goals. If you are just in it for strength gains then I would design a program that is generally a low rep and heavy weight. If you like to see muscle mass gains then we go with a mid range set of 6-10 with heavy enough weight to accomplish your lift. Lately, I have been incorporating core training into the workouts and have been finding this very beneficial with not only weight and strength gains but also with building muscle endurance. So, even though we will be working with weights, I will also incorporate the use of stability balls, bosu's, resistance bands and a functional trainer to make sure you will get the ultimate results from your workout...and you will feel it!! No matter what your goal is, a program will be designed for your needs with an explanation of why this routine was designed for you.
