A couple of weeks back I started back on Xenedrine EFX. You have to understand that I am an early bird and I hit teh gym at 4:00 a.m. so taking Xenedrine as soon as I wake up certainly gives me a boost to my workouts. My workouts at this time have also been increased in intensity, going from 3 day split routines to a full fledged 6 day event. Each bodypart is now hit on it's own day with 3-4 exercise of 3-4 sets each. Cardio has been added as well but I am starting slow, with 20-30 minutes 4-5 days a week. As I get near the contest date I may increase so keeping track of my Body Fat and weight is crucial. Just an FYI, 2 weeks ago I started at 168 and 8.2% BF...I am due for another measurement tomorrow (March 4th) so hopefully I will be on track. In the past I have managed to go into the lightweight category at 154 pounds but someone of my size at 5'8" should probaly be in the 160-164 pound range although I have done pretty well for myself in the lightweight category. I am trying a few things different this year to see if I can maintain muscle during this period and I will fill you in on the details at a later date. |
