Well, I went from sleeping very well last week to sleeping OK but feeling like crap during the day. I managed to go to sleep at 8:30 last night and I have to say that this being Thursday is the best I have felt in 3 days. My weigh in on Sunday did not go as well as I expected and I was a bit disappointed. As you can see, my weight dropped over 2 pounds and the Body Fat did not change that much. It could have been just a bad morning to have a weigh in or it could be accurate. The fact that I felt real good during the week had me thinking that I may have gained weight...especially since I deviated from my diet a bit by having a delicious Pasta Salad that my wife whipped up for me. This meal was consistent for about 6 or 7 of my meals during the week and even though it was high in protein...maybe it wasn't high enough. So now I am back to what I was eating previously to see if I can get back on track. ![]() Now despite having not done so well in dieting, I was told that I am looking real good by some of my fellow classmates during posing lessons. On the other hand and in my opinion, these same guys are looking tremendous and now I find out that if I do make the lightweight class...that they will be my competitors! I have to say that even the girls in this Posing class that I am taking are looking mighty fine...and ripped!! Now that it is 4 weeks away from the contest, timing is really critical and I must make sure I do everything to a "T". No cheating, plenty of sleep and great workouts. Now I also have to get a few things ready as well so I am not last minute panicking. My posing suits still fit me well (I tried them this morning) so that is all set. I have to now get a hold of some "Pro Tan" which is an instant tan that you start applying 2 days before showtime and continue applying until you have about 4-6 coats on you...the darker you are the more defined you will appear. I must get my music routine put together by this weekend and start practicing it the next few weeks. I will go into more details during my last week so you can see what we as bodybuilders must do to get ready for a show....it is crazy!! Until next week....have a safe Holiday (Easter for some), Steve (to leave comments you must be registered) |
