Instructions: Place washed chicken in a large bowl and season with garlic powder and blended seasonings.
Add onions, celery, green peppers and bay leaves.
Mix apple juice and ginger together and pour mixture over chicken and seasonings. Cover bowl and marinate in refrigerator overnight.
Remove chicken from the marinade and reserve the liquid and seasonings.
Brown chicken in a pan sprayed with non-stick cooking oil, then remove chicken.
Add green pepper, onion and celery from the marinade to pan. Cook 10 minutes over low heat.
Return chicken to pan, then stir in marinade mix.
Cover and simmer for 11/2 hours to thoroughly cook. Remove bay leaves before serving. |
